(Port) Wine of the month February 2017: S. Leonardo White Port "L"

Due to the regulations of the IVDP this category does not exist. You can only bottle as 10, 20, 30 or over 40 years of age, but Miguel was so convinced of this blend, that he found a way to go around:

Bright golden colour with intense green reflections. The bouquet reveals slightly overripe apricots and peach-aromas, honey and a refreshing herbal note. The acidity supports the roughly 150 g residual sugar very nicely. Also complex yellow fruits. This is the “big brother” of the White XXV from S. Leonardo. Very long aftertaste. 19/20
